Our fellowship
El-Shaddai Prayer House is one of the sister assemblies of the Indigenous Churches of India, in the pattern established through the labour and ministry of Brother Bakht Singh. Our mother assembly is Hebron, Hyderabad.
Our desire is to put into practice and hold the tradition we have been taught through the life, teaching, and ministry of our spiritual fathers.
“Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.”
2 Thessalonians 2:15 · KJV
Our life together
On the Lord’s Day, the saints gather around the Lord’s Table for worship and exhortation from the Word of God. Children and youth have their own sessions, supported by dedicated counsellors and teachers.
Through the week we meet for Bible study, church prayer, sisters’ ministry, prayer cells, fasting and prayer, cottage meetings in homes, and daily morning prayers.
We are called to witness
We witness in the neighbourhood and go to out-stations for gospel work once a month, with the Lord’s enablement. Our work includes personal evangelism, literature evangelism, and open-air evangelism. We seek to encourage our youth to be grounded in the Word.
Saints trained through this fellowship serve the Lord across the subcontinent and abroad. This website seeks to share the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, edify the Church of God, and prepare God’s people for His coming.
We covet your earnest prayer that we may be found faithful to His heavenly calling.
Yours in Christ,
Church at El-Shaddai
