Chorus:O Lord, send a great revivalO Lord, send a great revivalAnd begin that work in me.
Verse 1:Visit us, O God and Saviour,
As in the days of yore,
Send a great world-wide revival,
That we're praying for,
Verse 2:Break the grip of hell amongst us,
Drive her legions back,
Breathe Thy mighty power upon us,
That today we lack.
Verse 3:Tear the cherished idols from us,
Purge our sin away,
Give us hearts with true devotion,
To Thy cause today.
Verse 4:Help us meet the towering challenge,
Of a world to win,
Of a great, full ripened harvest,
To be gathered in.
