Hebrews 6

Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

కాబట్టి క్రీస్తు సందేశం గురించి ప్రారంభంలో మనం విన్న అంశాలను వదలి, మరింత పరిణతి సాధించే దిశగా సాగిపోదాం. నిర్జీవ క్రియల కోసం పశ్చాత్తాప పడటమూ, దేవునిపై విశ్వాసమూ,

Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

బాప్తీసాలూ, తలపై చేతులుంచడమూ, చనిపోయినవారు పునర్జీవితులు కావడమూ, నిత్య శిక్షా వంటి ప్రాథమిక అంశాలపై మళ్ళీ పునాది వేయకుండా ముందుకు సాగుదాం.

And this will we do, if God permit.

ఒకవేళ దేవుడు అనుమతిస్తే అలా చేస్తాం.

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

ఎందుకంటే దేవుని కుమారుణ్ణి వారే మళ్ళీ సిలువ వేస్తూ ఆయనను బహిరంగంగా అపహాస్యం చేస్తున్నారు.

For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

ఇది ఎలాగంటే, నేల తరచుగా తనపై కురిసే వాన నీటిలో తడిసి తనను దున్నిన రైతులకు ప్రయోజనకరమైన పంటలనిస్తూ దేవుని దీవెనలు పొందుతుంది.

But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

అయితే ముళ్ళూ, ముళ్ళ పొదలూ ఆ నేలపై మొలిస్తే అది పనికిరానిదై శాపానికి గురి అవుతుంది. తగలబడిపోవడంతో అది అంతం అవుతుంది.

But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

ప్రియమైన స్నేహితులారా, మేము ఇలా మాట్లాడుతున్నప్పటికీ మీరింతకంటే మంచి స్థితిలోనే ఉన్నారనీ, రక్షణకు సంబంధించిన విషయాల్లో మంచి స్థితిలోనే ఉన్నారనీ గట్టిగా నమ్ముతున్నాం.

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

దేవుడు అన్యాయం చేసేవాడు కాదు. పరిశుద్ధులకు మీరు సేవలు చేశారు. చేస్తూనే ఉన్నారు. దేవుని నామాన్ని బట్టి మీరు చూపిన ప్రేమనూ మీ సేవలనూ ఆయన మర్చిపోడు.

And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

మనం దేని కోసం ఎదురు చూస్తున్నామో దాని విషయంలో మీలో ప్రతివాడూ సంపూర్ణ నిశ్చయతతో, శ్రద్ధతో చివరి వరకూ సాగాలని మా అభిలాష.

That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

మీరు మందకొడిగా ఉండాలని మేము కోరుకోవడం లేదు. విశ్వాసంతో, సహనంతో, వాగ్దానాలను వారసత్వంగా పొందిన వారిని అనుకరించాలని కోరుకుంటున్నాం.

For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,

దేవుడు అబ్రాహాముకు వాగ్దానం చేసినప్పుడు, ఆయన కంటే గొప్పవాడు ఎవడూ లేడు కాబట్టి, “నా తోడు” అంటూ ప్రమాణం చేశాడు.

Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.

“నిన్ను కచ్చితంగా ఆశీర్వదిస్తాను. నీ సంతతిని విస్తారం చేస్తాను” అన్నాడు.

And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

ఈ విధంగా అబ్రాహాము సహనంతో వేచి ఉన్న తరువాత దేవుడు తనకు వాగ్దానం చేసిన భూమిని పొందాడు.

For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.

సాధారణంగా మనుషులు తమ కంటే గొప్పవాడి తోడు అంటూ ప్రమాణం చేస్తారు. వారికున్న ప్రతి వివాదానికీ పరిష్కారం చూపేది ప్రమాణమే.

Where in God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:

వాగ్దానానికి వారసులైన వారికి తన సంకల్పం మార్పు లేనిదని స్పష్టం చేయడానికి దేవుడు ఒట్టు పెట్టుకోవడం ద్వారా తన వాగ్దానానికి హామీ ఇచ్చాడు.

That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

అందువల్ల వేటి విషయం దేవుడు అబద్ధం ఆడలేడో, మార్పు లేని ఆ రెండింటి ద్వారా ఆశ్రయం కోరి పరుగు తీసే మన ఎదుట ఉన్న ఆశాభావాన్ని మనం బలంగా పట్టుకోడానికి గట్టి ప్రోత్సాహం ఉండాలని అలా చేశాడు.

Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

ఈ ఆశాభావం మన ఆత్మలకు చెక్కుచెదరని, స్థిరమైన లంగరు వలే ఉండి తెర లోపలికి ప్రవేశిస్తుంది.

Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

మెల్కీసెదెకు క్రమంలో కలకాలం ప్రధాన యాజకుడైన యేసు మన తరపున మనకంటే ముందుగా దానిలో ప్రవేశించాడు.
