O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
యెహోవా, నీవే నా దేవుడివి. నేను నిన్ను ఘన పరుస్తాను. నీ నామాన్ని స్తుతిస్తాను. నీవు అద్భుతాలు చేశావు. సత్య స్వభావాన్ననుసరించి నీవు పూర్వకాలంలో చేసిన నీ ఆలోచనలు నెరవేర్చావు.
For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
నీవు శత్రువుల నగరాన్ని దిబ్బగా చేశావు. ప్రాకారాలున్న పట్టణాన్ని శిథిలంగా చేశావు. అన్యుల కోటను పట్టణంగా మళ్ళీ ఉండకుండా చేశావు. అది మళ్ళీ ఎప్పుడూ నిర్మాణం కాకుండా చేశావు.
Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.
కాబట్టి బలిష్ఠులైన ప్రజలు నిన్ను ఘనపరుస్తారు. క్రూర జనం నివసించే పట్టణవాసులు నీకు భయపడతారు. భీకరుల ఊపిరి గోడకు తగిలిన గాలివానవలే ఉండగా నీవు పేదలకు శరణుగా ఉన్నావు.
For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
ఎందుకంటే దరిద్రులకు నీవు భద్రతగాను, అవసరతలో ఉన్నవారికి సంరక్షకునిగానూ ఉన్నావు. గాలివానలో ఆశ్రయంగాను వేసవిలో నీడగానూ ఉన్నావు. నిర్దయుల ఊపిరి సెగలాగా గోడకి తగులుతున్న తుఫానులాగా ఉంటే నీవు కవచంగా ఉన్నావు.
Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
ఎండ వేడిమి వర్షాభావం ఉన్న ప్రదేశాన్ని అణచి వేసినట్టు నీవు అన్యుల ఘోషను అణచివేశావు. మేఘం నీడలో ఎండ చల్లారి పోయినట్టు బలాత్కారుల జయకీర్తన అణిగి పోతుంది.
And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
ఈ పర్వతంపై సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా ప్రజలందరి కోసం కొవ్విన వాటితో విందు చేస్తాడు. మడ్డి మీద ఉన్న ద్రాక్షారసంతో విందు చేస్తాడు. మూలుగు ఉన్న కొవ్విన వాటితో విందు చేస్తాడు. మడ్డి మీది నిర్మలమైన ద్రాక్షారసంతో విందు చేస్తాడు.
And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.
జాతులందరి ముఖాలను కప్పుతున్న ముసుకును సమస్త జాతుల మీద పరిచిన తెరను ఈ పర్వతం మీద ఆయన తీసివేస్తాడు.
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
మరెన్నడు ఉండకుండా మరణాన్ని ఆయన మింగి వేస్తాడు. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ప్రతివాడి ముఖం మీది బాష్ప బిందువులను తుడిచివేస్తాడు. భూమి మీద నుండి తన ప్రజల నిందను తీసివేస్తాడు. ఇలా జరుగుతుందని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చాడు.
And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
ఆ దినాన ప్రజలు ఇలా అంటారు. ఇదిగో మనలను రక్షిస్తాడని మనం కనిపెట్టుకుని ఉన్న మన దేవుడు, మనం ఎదురు చూసిన యెహోవా ఈయనే. ఆయన ఇచ్చే రక్షణ విషయం సంతోషించి ఉత్సాహ పడదాము.
For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.
యెహోవా హస్తం ఈ సీయోను పర్వతం మీద నిలుస్తుంది. పెంటకుప్పలో వరిగడ్డిని తొక్కినట్టు మోయాబీయులు తాము ఉన్న చోటనే తొక్కబడతారు.
And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.
ఈతగాళ్ళు ఈదడానికి తమ చేతులను చాపినట్టు వారు దాని మధ్య తమ చేతులు చాపుతారు. వారెన్ని తంత్రాలు పన్నినా యెహోవా వారి గర్వం అణచివేస్తాడు.
And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.
మోయాబూ, నీ ప్రాకారాలను, ఎత్తయిన కోటలను ఆయన కూల్చి వేస్తాడు. వాటిని నేలకు అణగదొక్కి ధూళి పాలు చేస్తాడు.
