Matthew 28

In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

ప్రభువు దూత పరలోకం నుండి దిగి వచ్చి, ఆ రాయిని దొర్లించి దాని మీద కూర్చున్నాడు. అప్పుడు పెద్ద భూకంపం వచ్చింది.

His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

ఆ దూత స్వరూపం మెరుపులా ఉంది. అతని వస్త్రం మంచు అంత తెల్లగా ఉంది.

And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

అతన్ని చూసి కావలివారు భయపడి వణకుతూ చచ్చిన వారిలా పడిపోయారు.

And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

ఆ దూత ఆ స్త్రీలతో, “భయపడకండి, సిలువ వేసిన యేసును మీరు వెతుకుతున్నారని నాకు తెలుసు.

He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

ఆయన ఇక్కడ లేడు. తాను చెప్పినట్టే తిరిగి లేచాడు. రండి, ప్రభువు పండుకున్న చోటు చూసి,

And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

త్వరగా వెళ్ళి, ‘ఆయన చనిపోయిన వారిలో నుండి తిరిగి లేచాడు’ అని ఆయన శిష్యులకు చెప్పండి. ఇదిగో, ఆయన గలిలయకి మీకంటే ముందుగా వెళ్ళాడు. మీరు ఆయనను అక్కడ చూస్తారు. ఇదిగో, నేను మీతో చెప్పాను గదా” అన్నాడు.

And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

వారు భయంతో, మహా ఆనందంతో సమాధి దగ్గర నుండి త్వరగా వెళ్ళి ఆ సంగతి ఆయన శిష్యులకు చెప్పడానికి పరుగెడుతుండగా

Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

అప్పుడు యేసు, “భయపడకండి. మీరు వెళ్ళి, నా సోదరులను గలిలయకి వెళ్ళమని చెప్పండి. అక్కడ వారు నన్ను చూస్తారు” అని వారితో చెప్పాడు.

And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,

కాబట్టి వారు పెద్దలతో ఆలోచించి, ఆ సైనికులకు చాలా లంచమిచ్చి,

Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.

“మీరు ‘మేము నిద్రపోతుండగా అతని శిష్యులు రాత్రివేళ వచ్చి అతణ్ణి ఎత్తుకు పోయారు’ అని చెప్పండి.

And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.

ఇది గవర్నరుకు తెలిసినా మేమతనితో మాట్లాడి మీకేమీ ఇబ్బంది లేకుండా చూస్తాం.” అన్నారు.

So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

సైనికులు ఆ డబ్బు తీసుకుని వారు తమతో చెప్పిన ప్రకారం చేశారు. ఆ మాట యూదుల్లో ఇప్పటి వరకూ వ్యాపించి ఉంది.

And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

అక్కడ వారు ఆయనను చూసి ఆయనను పూజించారు, కొందరు సందేహించారు.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

అయితే యేసు వారి దగ్గరికి వచ్చి, “పరలోకంలో, భూమి మీదా నాకు సంపూర్ణమైన అధికారం ఉంది.

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

నేను మీకు ఏ సంగతులను ఆజ్ఞాపించానో వాటన్నిటినీ చేయాలని వారికి బోధించండి. ఇదుగో, నేను ఎల్లప్పుడూ, ఈ లోకాంతం వరకూ మీతో ఉన్నాను” అని వారితో చెప్పాడు.
