Psalms 55

To the chief Musician on Neginoth, Maschil, A Psalm of David. Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.

ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం. తీగెల వాయిద్యాలపై పాడేది. దావీదు రాసిన దైవధ్యానం దేవా, నా ప్రార్థన శ్రద్ధగా విను. నా విన్నపాలకు నీ ముఖం తిప్పుకోకు.

Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;

నా మనవి విని నాకు జవాబు ఇవ్వు. నాకున్న కష్టాల వల్ల నాకు నెమ్మది లేదు.

Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.

ఎందుకంటే నా శత్రువులు చేస్తున్న పెద్ద శబ్దాల వల్ల, దుర్మార్గులు చేస్తున్న బలాత్కారాల వల్ల నేను చింతలో మునిగిపోయి మూలుగుతున్నాను. వాళ్ళు నన్ను ఎంతగానో కష్టాలపాలు చేస్తున్నారు. ఆగ్రహంతో నన్ను హింసిస్తున్నారు.

My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.

నా గుండె నాలో వేదన పడుతున్నది. మరణ భయం నాకు కలుగుతున్నది.

Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.

దిగులు, వణుకు నాకు కలుగుతున్నాయి. తీవ్ర భయం నన్ను ముంచెత్తింది.

And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.

ఆహా, నాకు గనక రెక్కలుంటే గువ్వలాగా నేను ఎగిరిపోయి నెమ్మదిగా ఉంటాను.

Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah.

త్వరగా పారిపోయి అరణ్యంలో నివసిస్తాను.

I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.

పెనుగాలిని, సుడిగాలిని తప్పించుకుంటాను, అనుకున్నాను.

Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.

పట్టణంలో హింస, కలహాలు నేను చూశాను. ప్రభూ, అలాటి పనులు చేసేవారిని నిర్మూలం చెయ్యి. వారి మాటలు తారుమారు చెయ్యి.

Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it.

రాత్రింబగళ్లు వారు పట్టణ సరిహద్దుల్లో తిరుగుతున్నారు. అక్కడ అంతా పాపం, చెడుతనం జరుగుతూ ఉంది.

Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.

అక్కడ దుర్మార్గం కొనసాగుతూ ఉంది. అణచివేత, కపటం దాని వీధుల్లో జరుగుతూనే ఉన్నాయి.

For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:

నన్ను దూషించేవాడు శత్రువు కాడు. శత్రువైతే నేను దాన్ని సహించేవాడినే. నా పైకి లేచినవాడు నా పగవాడు కాడు. అదే అయితే నేను దాక్కోవచ్చు.

But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.

ఆ పని చేసింది నువ్వు అంటే నా నెచ్చెలివి, నా చెలికాడివి. నా ప్రియమిత్రుడివి.

We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.

మనం కలిసి మధుర సహవాసం అనుభవించాం. ఉత్సవంగా దేవుని మందిరానికి వెళ్లాం.

Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.

చావు వారి మీదికి అకస్మాత్తుగా ముంచుకు వస్తుంది. ప్రాణంతోనే వారు పాతాళానికి దిగిపోతారు. ఎందుకంటే చెడుతనం వారి ఇళ్ళలో, వారి అంతరంగంలో ఉంది.

As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.

అయితే నేను దేవునికి మొరపెడతాను. యెహోవా నన్ను రక్షిస్తాడు.

Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

సాయంకాలం, ఉదయం, మధ్యాహ్నం ధ్యానిస్తూ మొరపెడతాను. ఆయన నా ప్రార్థన వింటాడు.

He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.

నా శత్రువులు చాలామంది ఉన్నారు. అయితే వారు నా మీదికి రాకుండా చేసి ఆయన నా ప్రాణాన్ని విమోచించి, శాంతిసమాధానాలు అనుగ్రహించాడు.

God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.

పూర్వకాలం నుండి ఉన్న దేవుడు మారుమనస్సు లేనివారికి, తనకు భయపడని వారికి జవాబు చెబుతాడు.

He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant.

నా స్నేహితుడు తనతో శాంతి సమాధానాలతో ఉన్నవారి పైకి తన చెయ్యి ఎత్తాడు. వారితో తాను చేసిన నిబంధన మీరాడు.

The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

అతని నోటి మాటలు వెన్నలాగా మృదువుగా ఉన్నాయి. కాని అతని హృదయం నిండా కలహం ఉంది. అతని మాటలు నూనె కంటే నునుపుగా ఉంటాయి గానీ అవి నిజానికి దూసుకు వస్తున్న కత్తులు.

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

నీ భారం యెహోవా మీద ఉంచు. ఆయనే నిన్ను ఆదుకుంటాడు. నీతిమంతులను ఆయన ఎన్నడూ కూలిపోనియ్యదు.

But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.

దేవా, నువ్వు దుష్టులను నాశనకూపంలో పడవేస్తావు. ఇతరులతో పోలిస్తే రక్తాపరాధులు, వంచకులు సగం కంటే ఎక్కువకాలం బతకరు. నేనైతే నీలోనే నమ్మకం పెట్టుకుని జీవిస్తున్నాను.
